Penn's Cookie Page

With Privacy web sites

Here are some links to pages about cookies (client-side persistent information). I like Cookie Central and The Golden Hamster Report:

If you want to see what your browser is revealing about you, go to Privacy Analysis of Your Internet Connection from The Anonymizer (Includes a "cookies demonstration").

Of course, there are products to eat your cookies for you. For instance, Luckman’s Interactive Software has an "Anonymous Cookie for Internet Privacy" application (freeware). Cookie Monster claims to trash the MagicCookie and cookies.txt files every time it is launched. Built for the Mac, a PC version is there too.
